Discounted Admissions

NARF has secured discounted admission fee arrangements with the following museums for members of the BR&CF:

Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History (Kennesaw, GA, USA) - All BR&CF members showing valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will receive free admission. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal admission prices in effect. BR&CF members will also receive a 15% discount at the Museum’s gift shop when they show their valid membership cards.

The Dennison Railroad Depot Museum (Dennison, Ohio, USA) - All BR&CF members showing valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will receive free admission. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal admission prices in effect.

The B & O Railroad Museum (Baltimore, MD, USA) - All BR&CF members showing their valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will receive free admission except during special event days. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal admission prices in effect.

The Prairie Dog Central Railroad (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) - All BR&CF members who register in advance with the Director of Marketing (Catherine Duffin – phone: 204-255-0672 or marketing@pdcrailway.com), will ride the train free on regular operating days.

The EXPORAIL Museum (Saint-Constant, Quebec, Canada)- All BR&CF members showing their valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will receive 20% off regular admission prices except during special event days. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal admission prices in effect.

Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania (Strasburg, PA, USA) - All BR&CF members showing their valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will pay a discounted admission price of $3.50 (a 65% discount off the normal admission price of $10.00) through 2014 (except on special event days ... please consult the Museum's website for special event days). Accompanying adults and children will pay normal prices in effect.

The Wilmington & Western Railroad (Wilmington, DE) - All BR&CF members showing valid membership cards at the Railroad's ticket desk will receive a free ride pass. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal fares.

Heber Valley Railroad (Heber City, UT, USA) – All BR&CF members showing their valid membership cards at the ticket office will receive a $5.00 discount on regular scenic excursions. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal fares. The organization also offers a “Grandparents Treat” where grandparents ride for free on regular scenic excursions when they purchase tickets for their grandchildren.

National Railroad Museum (Green Bay, WI, USA) - All BR&CF members showing their valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will receive free admission. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal admission prices in effect.

Rocky Mountain Rail Society/Alberta Prairie Railway Excursions (Stettler, AB, Canada) – All BR&CF members who call and reserve tickets for an Alberta Prairie Railway Excursion will receive a 10% discount when they mention their membership while ordering and show their membership card when they pick up their tickets. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal excursion prices. For reservations call 1-403-742-2811.

Colfax Railroad Museum (Colfax, Wisconsin, USA) – All BR&CF members showing their valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will receive free admission. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal admission prices in effect.

The California State Railroad Museum (Sacramento, CA, USA) - All BR&CF members showing valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will receive free admission. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal admission prices in effect.

Northwest Railway Museum (Snoqualmie, WA, USA) - All BR&CF members showing their valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will receive free admission except during special event days. Accompanying adults and children will pay normal admission prices in effect.

Mid-Continent Railway Museum (North Freedom, WI, USA) - All BR&CF members showing valid membership cards at the ticket window will receive a free coach class ride (a $16 value) from May 30th through September 1st.  Accompanying guests will pay normal fares.

Colorado Railroad Museum (Golden, CO, USA) - All BR&CF members showing their valid membership cards at the admissions desk of the Museum will be entitled to one free adult/child admission when they purchase one adult admission (one discount per BR&CF member).

We ask that BR&CF members, their families and the public at large support these fine institutions which preserve the rich and delicate history of the Railroads, Railroad workers and the public they serve.
